Annual Report 2024

In 2024, AMAN Indonesia, as a progressive Muslim movement, significantly advanced its grassroots and advocacy initiatives to promote peace, inclusivity, and gender equality. The organization focuses on strengthening grassroots leadership by building the capacity of female facilitators, fully implementing Sustainable Peace Village (DDB) indicators, and fostering inclusive governance. AMAN Indonesia also consolidates strategic networks, including WGWC, thematic working groups, and the WPS network, to safeguard civic space and advocate for gender-responsive policies. In response to increasing militarization and democratic setbacks, AMAN Indonesia mobilizes collective action to defend dialogue-based conflict resolution and ensure that the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda remains central to Indonesia’s peace and security landscape.
